These voracious sea monsters always swim in pairs, with their long tails entwined, because two pairs of sharp eyes follow prey much more successfully than other dwellers of the Motionless Sea. Hiding in the crevices of underwater reefs, the Mordeels shoot out to ambush their unfortunate prey and grab them with their sharp teeth and drag them back to their cave to eat their fill. |
