It loves to launch surprise attacks on prey living in the branches of the Tailsime, attacking from beneath, which is why its head and chest are protected by hard feathers. With its sharp beak, it pierces the steel of the best armour, and its claws easily tear apart large predators. The wise Maurinas managed to tame the fierce creature, and now their watchmen ride out on the backs of these beasts to defend the sacred tree. |
