New additions to the rules

Dear players,

From now on, there is an outright BAN on attacks against any player both YOUR and OPPOSITE race, whose level is below your level by more than 3. This rule is valid only on territories directly belonging to any of the races.

The following areas do not belong to any of the races, so this rule does not apply to any fights taking place on any of these territories:
  • Insanity Moor
  • Plateau of Silence
  • Isles of Fay-Go
  • Underwater World and all its locations
  • Isles of Swirling Mist
  • Frozen islands
  • Rainbow Lands (duringthe Clan Wars season)
Clarifying aspects:

1. Mass battles during events such as "Caravan", "Trade Journey", Battle for Fortress seizure (including Haldebor, Wind Rose, Eridan, Kiyrite), Ancient Plateau, among others.

Any attacks of lower-level players will NOT be grounds for getting punishment during these battles!

2. Any Human or Magmar caught on the territory of an enemy race can be attacked or cursed/immobilized/poisoned by ANY player of ANY level of a hostile race. This action will NOT be grounds for punishment!

ATTENTION! Note that such an attack is the resolving ground for a retaliatory attack!

Explanations:
  • Should a lower-level player provoke you for a retaliatory attack (see above), you have to make a screenshot of the chat window, showing the provocation/the use of a curse/spell or any other negative effect against you in order to prove the legitimacy of the attack.
  • If a player is caught on the territory of an enemy continent and is attacked by an enemy race, then they have the right to request assistance in battle from their acquaintances/friends/clan or alliance mates. However, the players that help their friends in such battles must comply with the rule of "not attacking players that are 3 or more levels lower".
Examples of fights on Magmar territory (similar rules will apply to Human territories):
  • A Human level 10 player is being attacked by a Magmar level 15 player. The Human player can ask for support from players up to level 18 inclusive.
  • A Human level 10 player is being attacked by a Magmar level 9 player. The Human player can ask for support from players up to level 12 inclusive.
  • A Human level 10 player has attacked a Magmar level 5 player (AFTER a provocation has been made). The Human player can ask for support from players up to level 8 inclusive.
  • A Human level 10 player has attacked a Magmar level 5 player (BEFORE any provocation was made). The Human player can ask for support from players up to level 8 inclusive. However, after the battle this player will be punished.
Examples of provocation/hostile actions:
  • Insults. For example, insulting messages/a gift with an insult just before the attack and directly on given location.
  • Use of negative effects. For example, any "Curse of the Sickly Hex", the use of the "Prisoner's Ball and Chain", etc.
  • Direct attacks.
3. Clan/alliance mates can help their clan/alliance mates in battles on ANY territory with the only condition that their clan/alliance mate has been attacked! However, they also must comply with the rule of "not attacking players that are 3 or more levels lower". (see Explanations to p.2)

4. Provocation/use of negative effects are NOT grounds for any punitive raids!

5. Executioners DO have the right to take orders for players of ANY level.

However, the following conditions must be taken into account:
  • The victim must be of the same race than the Executioner.
  • The Contractor may not order the execution of the same player for an extended period of times within a short time frame.
  • Members of the same clan/alliance may act as "The Contractor". However, in this case the clan/alliance leader will be considered to be "The Contractor" and will have to take full responsibility for the actions of their clan/alliance members.
You can find these rules added to the Game Rules, under the Penalties section: Point 8, Destructive actions.

Additionally,

Note that yesterday, 21.07.2017, a new rule has been added to the Code of Conduct. For your comfort, here is the rule that has been added:
  • You may not do anything that interferes with the ability of other Legend: Legacy of the Dragons players to enjoy the game or web site in accordance with its rules. This includes, but is not limited to, making inappropriate use of any channels within the game and/or intentionally persecuting/hunting down/excecuting other players for an extended period of time.
Clarifying aspect:

Battles during a war between two clans/alliances.
Any attacks of lower-level players from the enemy clan during a war will NOT be grounds for getting punishment!

The rules have already come to effect as of this moment. Breach of said rules will be punished.

Small additions:

1. If a player places a negative hex and teleports away from the location before you have a chance to pay them back, you can kill them once, if you happen to find them. You can not continue killing them for the same offense multiple times.

2. During the Dungeon of Forgotten Heroes players can take a trophy. Being a thing of honor, you can claim it back, should you get the chance to do so.

3. If your spouse is being attacked by a player of a higher level, then you can assist them in battle. If your spouse is being provoked/offended, you can enter a battle to defend their honor. However, you should take a screenshot of the offences in order to prove the legitimacy of the attack, if needed.
