Hire workers

Ok so I hire workers, plus bought enought stone to cover and yet even after 2 days i cant see that there is any change to the build site / energy bar for work needed... do I have to do someting additional for the work done by hired workers to reflect ?

Awesome guide ...still a little lost on the building part but eh ..im sure at some point a building will pop up.... :lol:
