will client be fixed anytime soon? no admin ever replyed to my posts on this so far

ever since update came client keep crashing in th middle of the fight and it won't let me come back online for a min or two (aka, everything loading very, very slow - and no, it's not my connection) + when i play on browser, browser closes by itself saying and unsuspected error occured and it only happends when i play LOD... if i have other tabs opened then those tabs remain open and and only LOD closes... it's at least 10th time i died because of this and i'm getting pissed really fast :grrrr:

Have you tried contacting Support Slayerem? Its very important that you submit trouble ticket to support in order to get this resolved for you, not All players experience this problem which means Admins cant just give you generic straight forward answer here.. they will have to have the help of the tech support to investigate this issue and determine the cause and what can be done to fix. There have been other posts similar to this where again Admin have asked that players please direct these technical problems to support.

also to add, when you do send your ticket be as detailed as possible, you know its not your connection as you stated, well have you tried playing the game from another computer? Did this same issue occur on a different PC? Maybe use a local library computer to try checking if this problem is only on your pc or all pc u access.. that will help determine if the problem is with in the files on your pc :)

Queen that Contact support is BS and you very well know it.. Way to many people have said the same thing but NOTHING IS DONE.. But stupid answers like Clear the Cashe.. Uninstal and Renstall the Client.. Give it a Break.... Chrome is Garbage from the start but These people Dpo Nothing but give BS answers..

1. No, i did not and will not contact support on this matter, i've done that in the past and nothing happend, and i also don't think players should act like game testers for the company that produces the game.
2. I did not tryed to play from another computer but what i can say is that for french server i kept the old client, i never updated it and it works fine, only with new client i have these problems.

LOl I usually see that window after trying to shut the client down, seems it doesnt like being turned off and dances between not responding and working finally deciding it isn't going to respond and asking if i want windows to search for problem. have also noticed I can only do about 1 hour of rainbow before client is moving as fast as an arthritic pensioner who also just happens to be dead and i'm forced to log out and shut client (if i can) then restart.

Guys I truly do understand your frustration, I wish I was more savy with computer software so that I could help you fix this myself.. but I'm not. The reason why I push for support so much is because these issues that you all are having I don't have, my new game client runs perfectly fine Ive never had it log me out or freeze or give an error during fights, my hunt screen always loads, my fights screen on home server always loads... the only time i have issues with loading is when Im in battlefields on another server and even then its workable... This gives me reason to believe that something on your computer is causing conflict.
So just to give a brief summary of what I have and maybe we can compare to find the issue.. I downloaded the Client straight from FIle, I did not use the P2P download ( i have noticed ppl having more issues with p2p) I am running a 64 bit Operating system with windows 8 and google chrome installed, I play both on client and chrome.. IE doesnt work very well for me since they updated the game to run off chrome.
Now what support would do for you if you contacted them is they will try to reproduce your issue on their end by running your char and testing its actions. If they cannot reproduce the issue than Yes they will most likely come back with a responce that it is something on your end and may have more questions for you. Even if they cant solve it for you, giving them all the info you can about the issue will put the issue up front for technical problems needing to be resolved. The more ppl that write to support that have the issue, the more tech can look at reasons as to why so many are effected and make changes to the program or suggest changes players can make.

Shylark I'm not sure what makes you think support is BS have you ever used it? I have and always get some sort of answer from them that is helpful.. it might not always be the answer I want but they do try to help.

Maybe you should talk to some of the Mag mentors then.. A lot of issues have been told about.. But then I am very Computer Savy I know Chrome is a resourse Hog.. Then add the Mail RU file sharing part of the new Client... The Old Client had a few issuse with Chat log.. I never had the game lock up on a 15 year old PC let alone a 2 year old Machine.. So is great you have seen any issue.. But with as many people telling of issues maybe you should Bow out of this one and read the Update Issues thread.. And see all the thing reported about 60% are Client related issues.. Ane if you want a bit of Help to understand about Chrome let me know.. I will tell you where and how to see it..

LoL I have red CrossKnights really Cool comments... And I have never gotten any real help from support.. They need to start playing the game about 4 hours a day and at different times won't take long they will see what MOST Players see.. Now I have worked in the IT and Software fields so Maybe I see things differently.. But I will not Claim to know it all..

you said it the best, the new client works perfectly for you so there's no reason to interfere in a post you can't relate to... unless, ofcourse, you can explain me how does the old client works just fine and new client crashes and browser crashes too for .com server on the same computer...

I see what your saying shylark, and no doubt you have way more experiance than I do with IT and game software, i've read through the update issues thread and out of all those issues the 2 i found effect me is the chat which sometimes seems to blip and not record a message sent or received and of coarse lag in bfs but the latter was an issue for me for long time since interserver was first introduced, some of the other problems I do know have been fixed, some of my clannies had issues in the begining that logged them out every few minutes and they were able to get it fixed and no longer have that problem.. some of the other ones I know are still unresolved, I dont think its a matter of tech ignoring it as much as just not able to find a solution to the cause yet.. as for chrome yeah you would have to elaborate on it because I have no idea what the difference in browsers are lol and I do thank you for all your insight, it is helpful for me to understand better, i dont make these posts to try 'parrot' admins I make comments because I do want to try help players with what ever resources I have :)

Hi fellow sufferers,

Might I suggest that you use the actual game exe file to run the game instead of the Chrome helper app which comes installed. I used the P2P downloader to download the game setup. It's a 550 odd MB file with the LoD icon. My experience with the new client and it's helper app (the Chrome Window with the chrome icon), tells me that the Chrome browser process is a resource hog And so should not be used for running the client.

You just need to go to your install directory and use that executable to start the client instead of using the Mail.Ru shortcut (provided it was created in the first place).

And it turns out I am wrong since I completely misread the Screenshot :bl:
I assumed it was the helper page.

Well, seeing that the browser itself is crashing, it's most probably related to the Flash version being used. you can try to downgrade to a lower flash version by replacing the .ocx files. (Look to the internet for help on that).

Since you've said that both browser as well as client is crashing, I can't recommend using the existing flash version to replace the one that the client uses. (because Redundant, duh)

have you tried using Firefox to play?

One thing I could ask, is to provide the flash version your Browser and Client are using. Also I know for a fact that one of .net framework latest updates have caused problems with flash using websites and apps. (Crashed my browsers when I installed the latest update)

My system is a Windows 8, with 8GB of RAM and Core i7 quad core. I DO NOT have latest windows updates installed. Although the game runs mostly fine on my system, I hardly experience much hiccups, but I will try to help you to the best of my abilities.
