What are collections? How can you gather them?

For all who do not know the game yet some simple rules:
  • Every week (Friday morning) we publish one question to our game:
    Legend. Legacy of the Dragons.
  • From all correct answers up to 10 participants will win one promotional game code each.
  • The most detailed or unique answers have the biggest chance to win.
  • Copy and paste-answers will NOT be considered. Same goes for trolling or spamming or inadequate language.
  • Personal attacks on other players in your answers/posts as well will NOT be accepted.
  • Answer must be in English. You can answer in your mothertongue only if you post understandable translation in English in same post as your answer.
  • The winners will be chosen by a mixed team of magmars and humans. The decision will be final.
  • Codes will be sent to winners via private messages in the forum or per post ingame.

What are collections?
Collections are ........... collections :lol:
Ok, just kidding, their name are pretty understandable and suits what they are used for, in summary they are some collectionable items which one got all of one set will allow you to exchange it with special item which:
-give buff
-give random items
-give influence on certain faeo region
-give special items

How can you gather them?
There are many ways to gather them:
-doing specific regular events there is possibility to drop collection fragment
-opening the collection caskets, purchasable in game in certain fair or with merchant marks in exchange tent
-defeating superbeing
-defeating normal monsters(essays and stories, commemorative coins)
-opening normal caskets
-defeating istance bosses and opening certain chests
-defeating monster in istances
-gathering resourses with profession
-opening pack of decks

For more detailed description on each collection set and how to obtain it you can check direct in your inventory, collection section, on each collection fragment item there is written aproximately how to obtain it.

Collection is a group of several collection fragments that, when gathered completely, provide a certain reward.

Every collection needs specific corresponding set of fragments which can be received in various ways. You can get those pieces from monsters (regular, Superbeings and Instance monsters and bosses), chests, profession works, battlefields, participation in events.

Gather all fragments for one collection and be sure you'll be rewarded.
While profession collections provide Signs of the Master (used in Profession shop to purchase goods), other collections can provide event influences, many cool effects, non-quest and quest items, armour, reputation items and more!
*Gathering collection and their fragments also provides lots of achievements.

To see which collections are available and which you have gathered check "Collections" tab in your Backpack.
To see which collection fragments you have and which are needed for collections check "Elements" & "Collections" tab in your Backpack.
In those tabs you can see how can each collection be obtained and what rewards you will be given for completing one.
