[PVP] Best tactic to succeed in Clanwars

Please explain how clan wars do work and which is the best strategy to succeed!

For all who do not know the game yet some simple rules:
  • Every week (Friday morning) we publish one question to our game:
    Legend. Legacy of the Dragons.
  • From all correct answers up to 10 participants will win one promotional game code each.
  • The most detailed or unique answers have the biggest chance to win.
  • Copy and paste-answers will NOT be considered. Same goes for trolling or spamming or inadequate language.
  • Personal attacks on other players in your answers/posts as well will NOT be accepted.
  • Answer must be in English. You can answer in your mothertongue only if you post understandable translation in English in same post as your answer.
  • The winners will be chosen by a mixed team of magmars and humans. The decision will be final.
  • Codes will be sent to winners via private messages in the forum or per post ingame.

There are 5 islands each a different color and need to get at least 3 islands to win. One warlord picked by the clan the warlord distrubutes players between each island. The players representing each color island fight the players the other team has picked of the same color. Up to 20% of the players taking part are in reserve these ones usually are the highest levels/stongest fighters. There are 4 weeks stage 1 where any clan can face any other clan and then stage 2 where clans are seprated into leagues depending how they did in stage 1. There are 3 different leagues gold league with the best 10 clans 2 silver leagues with 10 in each and 3 bronze leagues with everyone else in. Clans can be promoted and relgated between leagues if one clan in the higher league goes below a threashold and another clan in a lower league is above it then they swap places. The score for between gold and silver and silver and bronze is determined at the end of stage 1 depending on the number of points clans have at the end of the stage. What stategy is used depends on how tough the opponent is. If both clans are similar strength wise best thing is to stall putting the reserves in for as long as possible ideally putting them in later than the other team for the buffs of the other team to run out sooner. At the end of the clan wars teams are awarded certificates to get clan resources for citadel and how many depends on final placing and which league clans are in at the end. Spider glue is the main resource which is best got from clan wars as it is the only way to get it other than buying it for energy in level 6 market

CLAN WARS
Situation : 5 island fight (brawl of all level)
Win Condition : 3 win out of 5 island fight

Optimal Strategy:
1. Place your strongest fighter on reserves.
2. Set your other fighter on each island whom can at least hold out until the reserve fighter join.
3. Focus on only 3 win if the situation unfavorable. Thus, only set your reserves fighter on the island they can win.

Side Note:
1. Don't forget to take blesses specifically meant for clan wars which are available at clan citadel's Magic Pot.
