Why do cork and styrofoam have such a low density compared to other solids?
No answer received :-(
The very easy answer is:
In cork and polystyrene relatively much air is stored.
Cork or styrofoam bodies therefore occupy a large volume.
(Nerd stuff: Volume = V at a certain mass m.)
