Back to School Week - Tuesday: Physics!

And here is the example for the Tuesday - Physics!

What does synthesis gas (water gas) consist of?

1. oxygen (O2) and hydrogen (H2)
2. methane (CH4) and water (H2O)
3. carbon dioxide (CO2) and hydrogen (H2)
4. carbon monoxide (CO) and hydrogen (H2)

Event description and rules

Okay, so I don't think example question counts as a question, so I'll ask the first one. (:

What is a vector?

1. A magnitude with a direction.
2. An indirect result of horizontal internal forces in buildings such as bridges.
3. An arrow.
4. A theory in quantum physics.

4

1. A magnitude with a direction.

1. A magnitude with a direction.
Correct!

what is e=mc^2
It's the equation for the theory of relativity.
It's better to be silent and be thought a fool than to speak and remove all doubt. What's even better is to weaponize your words to destroy anyone who dares challenge you.

Just a general question: Could it also be a chemistry question (like in the example) or should our questions be solely about Physics?

the cook lays a boiled egg to the raw one. When he realizes this and he wants to correct the mistake, he sees only twelve externally identical eggs.
How can he find out the boiled, without tools and without damaging the shell?

No answer. received..

Correct Would have been:
Just rotate and stop egg - and release it again.
>> The raw one will start slight rotating again because
stop didnt stop the movement of raw material inside totally

Which one of the following is wrong:

1. i=v/r
2. v=i*r
3. r=v/i
4. i=v*r
btw nobody answered, the answer was 4: i=v*r because the formula is V (voltage)= I (Current) x R (Resistance)

it was a question regarding Ohm's Law.

If you place a thumbtack very carefully on the surface of the water, it floats due to the surface tension of the water.
In a plate is clean water, on which several thumbtacks swim individually, The small fleet will be left alone for about half an hour. What can be observed after that?

a) They still float individually on the water.
b) They have all swum to the edge of the plate.
c) They have merged into a composite and no longer floats around individually.
