I am at the Warlord's Misfortune and nothing let's me go any further. I have spoke to everyone.
Current goal: Speak to Sporucs the Sorcerer, Sorena the Mermaid and Bludiara the Fortune-teller about Orlufia's disappearance. Tell Damirus what you find out. You can find the mermaid and the sorcerer at Lumirya Waterfall, and the fortune-

You need to get things for the NPCs to talk. You need the Guard's letter (in Balthazar's lair) for the Mermaid to talk. It says "you have taken down notes".
however, I am finding the same issue with the sorcerer.

I believe you have to finish the quest A Love of Pastry Buns for the sorcerer before he will talk to you about the warlords daughter

as much as I remember you just need to talk to Sorena and Bludiara first, do what they ask and later Sporucs will talk to you.

Just to clarify these 3 need you to do certain things before they will talk to you.
For Bludiara you need Orlufia's possession(found inside the tree hole in wild forest); Scolopendra (under the rock in Lights Edge) and Vial of Fury Hound Blood (either kill one, or buy for 50 s from Gredeya)
For Sorena you need to teleport to magmar territory and talk to Pymen the Monk (teleportation scroll can be used 3 times per day)
For Sporucs bring some pastry buns from the city shop ( this is listed as a separate quest, called A Love of Pastry Buns )

buns have absolutely nothing to do with the quest. Sporuks gives the quest Good Zigred is Dead Zigred that you are supposed to complete. When you come and speak to him, do not choose the variant that you do not have time, but listen what he says.
One more time: buns quest is completely optional.
