I understand there is a section for this above...but I thought no one would read it and I'd like to hear other peoples opinions so here it is:
After experiencing fully my first full moon folly, I decided to offer some suggestions on ways the events could be far more interesting for everyone. Let me know what you think.
Firstly, the Dragon battle- What if instead of having Everyone join one big boring fight, we have it so its just one on one. It would work this way- once you get the mark of the dragon, at the designated time you enter the plateau(which is off limits to everyone else). Upon entering immediately you enter a fight with a person of the opposite race that is your same level. Because of this, the dragon blessings might have to be adjusted to not give such an advanteage to one side but that is detaills to be worked out. Anyway, no one else can join this fight(with one exception I explain in a little bit). You can use as many summons as you want (but you will want to save those summons)but you keep fighting that person until someone wins. Then you immediately fight the next available person of your level-if no one is available you can simply wait until someone finishes a fight and then you fight them. This would continue until no one on the opposite side is left of your level. Then you would join the fight of 2 people who are one level above you. This would continue until either the Humans or the Mags win, because once you die you wouldn't be allowed back into the plateau. So where do the dragons come into play? Well, I haven't quite thought this part out completely, but perhaps the winning side could simply take the victory, or maybe then they could get a special blessing for another fight with everyone involved including the dragons.....Another option would be to have the humans fight Striagorn and the mags fight Efirarius seperately. Just brainstorming here, but I think most everyone will agree the current setup is not fun enough and I can now sympathize with people who just take the dragon blessings and go hunt monsters.
but I think the 1 on 1 would both save time and make it much more fun for everyone, because most people die within 30 mins then they have to sit around for 4 hours until the battle is over. Plus the 1 on 1 aspect would make it feel more like a real battle instead of a crappy turn based game...
The Gungl Invasion- This event was equally lame in my opinion. I looked at the fight and it was about 10 gungls versus 1000 mags and humans. Not very fun and from what I heard people agree. Lets make it alittle more interesting. How about if 100s or more gungl soldiers pour out of the Plateau and both sides have to clear them out and fight their way to plateau where the general is waiting? This should feel more battle/war like, instead of these poorly and losely choregraphed "battles" that start and stop at a certain time. When I logged on at 1630 there weren't anymore gungls invading FAEO...
Lastly, I think the UmarrYO helms should not be allowed into these events(at least for the humans vs mags parts). They make battles last stupidly long and give one player a rediculious advantage over the other...I know that is the point but they have the entire month to do some PvP with those things and when you have such a large battle as this it just ends taking away from the whole experience for the vast majority of players.
So please Warriors share your opinions and lets work to make these Events more worth our time, and more fun. If you feel equally displeased with the way the events go perhaps we should organize a boycott until something more entertaining is concocted.

-1 Imagine 250 battles going on in the same spot at once I can almost guarntee that it would cause a problem on the server. This event is supposed to be the Battle of the Dragons which each month it seems to have problems with the dragons timing out. I like the idea about each race try to kill the opposite dragon but is near impossible to do at any current levels. My suggestion is that admin runs a test run on the plat with the dragons before the battle to make sure everything is in working order.

the system would crash if there are 250 battles were going on in same location lol What I would suggest is to lower the damage and hp of the dragons....something like a L5 holding dragon sword type strength and HP. I think that would balance out the 1hit 1 kill method (lol I got killed even though I had over 450+ hp last time, in block, one hit:). Also as because dragons will have less hp, they can have regeneration power (+5hp per 5sec) to balance it out:) One may call it dragon Regeneration:)

I hadn't thought about the technical issues of the server, but I don't think it would cause the server to crash as there wouldn't be all 250 battles going on(not everyone particpates in these anyway). And besides, as you pointed out the dragons already seem to have some issues that need working out. I think this problem of too many fights at one location could be easily fixed though. I'm not a game developer so this is mere speculation however. I think logistical issues can be worked out but what really needs to be decided is how to improve the events.

I agree that the gungle invasion should actually be an invasion. Not a random fart in passing eminating from the gungl lands... Have the 10 hardcore gungles come along but why not also make about 100 weaker hostile gugnle soldiers that pour out and will attack players randomly whether theyre fighting or not. This would be an invasion in the true sense of the word and could spice things up abit.
The object of war is not to die for your country, but to make the other poor bastard die for his.
