riteYou do know that I'm a mentor now, right? We all are human, we make mistakes... but rules
are rules. And actually as a Mentor you get both privilages and responsiblities. In my eyes getting
the paycheck and getting a "thank you" is the privilage part... the responsibilities part is when we
are required to mute people, or have to sometimes curb our own attitude and keep our cool...
so that we are a good role model to others. And Mentors make mistakes too... we aren't above
the law either. If I started swearing right now on the forums I would have the post edited and I
too would be gagged. And also we have to deal with people blindly hating us
Guards too have this stigmata... only they are out there solely to gag people. They may be able
to give advise... but their primary role is to catch the bad guys. The Mentor's primary role is to
give advise the new player. And then there are Mentor "unwritten rules" that we follow. I am
still new to it all so I've made a mistake just today... and I feel bad about it. But mistakes are human
(and Magmar as well) and you gotta just improve on yourself. Its sad that we have to punish people
to make them learn... but some people thats the only way.
Quit making fun of the delivery man... Its not his fault he cant read!
