Level 16+ guide

Preparations

With level 16 you have reached another important milestone in your game life. Many new adventures await you: new type of magic, new locations, new battlefields and instances and last but not least new reputations. In this guide we will try to give you some hints and advices how to prepare best for it!



Tablets


From now on you will be able to use porcelain tablets. But there is no need to have the full range in advance. Best is to concentrate on the most usefule ones: Tablets that raise your physical and magical attributes.

Tablets can be bought from other players. Alternatively you can collect the fragments and put them together to receive a tablet. The fragments you can buy in special sales in premium shop or trade fair. Just keep in mind that you will have to learn all tablets in the right order. If you want to use a purple tablet, you have to study all colours from grey to blue before. With a click on your achievements, you can see which tablets you have already studied.

 

Crystals of truth


Another great news is that you now also can upgrade some more of your talents.
To improve your talents you will need Crystals of Truth.


With level 16 you can upgrade Block 4 and Block 5 in the first row of talents.

Block 4 - suppression / will / concentration now can be upgraded to red.

Block 5 - defence from physical / magical / both damages you can upgrade to green.

The amount of crystals of truth needed is calculated in expectation that the talent already is upgraded to purple in block 4 and based on grey talent for block 5.

Same as with tablets, we also should focus on improving talents based on physical attributes. Whilst we could ignore physical atributes such as dexterity / intuition / defense in the levels 11-15, they will start playing a major role from level 16.


Stocking up resources


Once again there are new reputations which require resources. The good news here is, that you already can put those resources on stock before you level up. More details about the new available reputations will be discussed later in the guide. In the meantime, let's look at the resources themselves:


Spark of heavenly fires:

To speed up the purchase of a bracelet which is necessary to use the new type of magic, it can be useful to have 2 Sparks of heavenly fires in your backpack. Sparks can also be used to speed up the process of various other reputations.

 


Manuscripts:

Finally, at level 16 the holder of the Medal of Honor for the Custodians of Magic can complete the quest for the Medal of Worship. To complete this quest you will need:

- 40 Other dialects manuscript Kroffdors

- 30 Other dialects manuscript Eldives

- 20 Elfin cache manuscript

- 10 Piedmont people's manusript


You can collect all those manuscripts in advance in regularly visiting the Abandoned Library , buying it from other players or in special sales in premum shop or trade fair. You also can transform manuscripts with the help of your Elt cube:

 Alternatively you can hand in 20 Sparks of heavenly fires at the Chronicler Barachmung in the White Castle in order to obtain the "Medal of Worship". 


As a reward, you are able to study special folios that will reduce the cooldown of the Custodian of Magic spells down to 60 seconds which can give you an advantage in battle.


Scales - are a quest resource, which is necessary to create "green" and "blue" armour items for level 16+. It is also required to raise the new reputation Tomb Raider.

For all players whose priority is not on gaining valor, it does make sense to buy those scales at the special sales in premium store. To create a "green" armor piece, you need a certain amount of scales.

As mentioned already, scales are also needed to obtain the new reputation Tomb Raider. To speed up the reputation you can also hand in scales bought from the shop. The exchange rate of scales to reputation is as follows: 

- up to 1,000 reputation: 2 swamp scales = 1 reputation 
- up to 2,000 reputation: 3 malachite scales = 1 reputation
- up to 2,500 reputation: 4 jade scales = 1 reputation

Closed scales are available for gold and diamonds in charges for 100 and 300 pieces of each type. Open scales can be bought in charges of 2.000 per type, but only in diamond. Open scales are non-transferable whereas closed scales are transferable

 

The Darkness Aura is a quest resource that is used to increase the reputation of the Tailsime Protectors. Here you will be rewarded with the availability to learn new invulnerability spells and super-blows.

Handing in darkness auras is not the only way to raise this reputation. Another possibility to raise your reputation is to regularly visiting the instance "The Great Maurin Tree" and completing the ritual. However, handing in darkness auras can significantly speed up the process. Apart from the occasional drop from monsters darkness auras can be obtained on special sales in the premium shop. Those are also transferable and can be bought in auction/exchange or via direct trade.

Faulty efril crystal are needed to raise another new reputation: The Order of the Triad. Additional you can raise your reputation in handing in sparks of heavenly fires to Ulvarno who is located in the White Castle in White Reef.

Where to start?

To get access to new lands and instances as well as new reputations, new combat style and new armour you have to complete a series of quests. 

Quest for access to the Meridian Lands. After completing the quest "Map of Unexplored Lands" you can enter the new locations where you can hunt new monsters, visit new instances and raise new reputations. The quest can be obtained from Chronicler Barachmung in the White Castle .

After completing the quest your reward will be reputation of the capital in those new lands as well as the teleportation amulette "Wind of Wandering" which gives you faster access to Silty Weir and  Bottomless Lake.

To use the Portal to  Rumengild in the Cave of War Mages in  Square of Fire and to  Waltreia in the Tower of War Mages in  Daylight Square it is necessary to complete the quest "The Awakening of the Magical Portal"  which can be obtained from  Erding of the Undaunted in Rumengild /  Bratwell the Valiant in Waltreia. To finish this task, you need to have 500 reputation of Rumengild / Waltreia. but here again you can raise the reputation faster in handing in sparks of heavenly fires.

New magic: Battle aura, bracelets and foliants of battle aura, or so-called glaze - new type of magic for warriors from level 16+ await you. After completing the quest 'Building a Portal for Meridian Lands' you can buy a special bracelet. This bracelet is required to use battle auras. There are different bracelets available. Types and how receive it you will find described below:

You probably might have tested arkats on previous levels. But from level 16+ it becomes a regular item to wear and you also can change bracelets if needed without worrying that it will disappear.

To use the bracelet you should buy and study the suitable folios to be able to use the glaze spells. Please note: to study glazes you must complete the quest "The Awakening of the Magic Portal".

Before using the auras in combat you have to add the spell into a special slot in your backpack: 
 Combat skills - Combat auras.



The number of combat auras available in combat depends on the bracelet you are wearing. You cannot change your set of auras during battle. To change you need replace the spells in your combat skills.

Damage from glaze works onlyduring activated glaze and physical hits,you can have active glaze and hit with magic but you won't deal any extra damage from glaze. The main attribute for glaze is wisdom, the more wisdom - the more extra damage from glaze:

 

 


Your magic damage from combat auras is added to physical damage.
 In the battle log, this is displayed as follows:

Due to the fact that combat auras only work in a physical stand, magical powders/scrolls of retriubtion/weakness are working well against glaze because by physical hits it decrease extra magic damage from glaze but it can't be removed until you switch on magic and do 5 turns or until you use emulsion on yourself.


Armor


Level 16 starts with new range of armor - from simple grey to luxurious purple. Obtaining such armor is not so much different from how you can obtain the armor in lower levels. 


Ordinary grey items can be dropped from monsters and also be bought in the shops in Rumengild /  Waltreia.


Green armor though is different: In order to receive green items, it is required to collect an fixed number of  certain scales, to buy a frame in the shops at  Erding, the Undaunted or  Bratwell the Valiant in  Rumengild and  Waltreia. By clicking on use on the frame, this and the scales will be transformed into your desired green armor piece. 


Rare blue items, as before, are separated on valor armor and non-valor armor. Valor armor can be bought as usual in the arsenal, provided you have the required valor rank. For regular blue items you still need to exchange chess sets. But in addition to chess, you also need the corresponding item from the green set.


Unique purple items can be obtained in the same manner as for any other level. 


Jewelry


Jewelry for 16+ levels differ in the way they are produced and in terms of their characteristics.


Green and blue jewelry can be received according to  the Tomb Raider reputation.


Purple jewelry can be obtained in exchange for the required amount of Shiass substances at the Altars.


Exclusive red rings and amulets can be obtained by killing the Shaissar during the event and summoned by card deck "Superbeings" or bought in special sales in trade fairs.
