Kroffdors

Available
: from level 11, after completion of the quest Ordeal by Blood, which can be received from  Dimedora and  Reodora.

Description:
The ancient race of the Kroffdors, which is involved in an eternal, bloody war with the Eldive tribe, is ready to accept you into the ranks of its army. The hatred between the two races runs so deep that that all spheres of life, all joy or progress for the Kroffdors is inexorably linked to the destruction of their sworn enemies. It is hardly necessary to say that the most distinguished trophy for them is the heart of the Eldive – the Incarnum.

Every Incarnum procured is a guarantee of the destruction of one of the Eldives, who will be unable to resurrect and continue fighting. Everybody that undergoes initiation learns how to procure Incarnums – a special skill that allows you to recognize the heart in the body of a wounded opponent, and not to damage it during extraction.

During centuries of conflict, Kroffdor mages have perfected a special ritual that temporarily increases their Incarnum procurement skills. You may also perform this ritual, for which you will need a Flickering Flower. The Eldives plant these flowers in enemy territory that they wish to capture.

The Kroffdors also try to control contested lands and they do this by using Crimson Crystals. Do not hinder the spread of these crystals, if you value your Kroffdor reputation!

Procured Incarnums are burned, to prevent the rebirth of their Eldive owners. To burn them you need a Davagar or a Nevagar – devices developed by Kroffdor mages for this very purpose. Every use of these devices improves your reputation with the Kroffdors, and provides you with the by-products of the Davagar and Nevagar, which are useful in battle.
The Davagar, which scoops up the hatred for the Eldives that is hanging in the very air, and transforms it along with the energy from 5 Incarnums into a Magic Aureole, which increases the magical abilities of its owner.

Each use of the appliance increases its capacity, up to a value of 2000. Upon reaching threshold values (100, 200, 400) your Davagar or Nevagar improves. Improvement is possible only at the moment an Incarnum is burned.

Along with destroying Incarnums, there is another way to increase the capacity of the device – by using special crystals that can be received both from the Eldives, and from the Kroffdors.

This crystal should only be used in strictly remote areas, the magical flows of which will help release its energy. Use the crystal to increase the capacity of a Nevagar or a Davagar only if you have burnt at least one Incarnum in the device. The maximum achievable capacity is - 2000.

To get rid of a destructor, use a Scroll of Klarifa. This can be acquired from the demonologists  Berrush or  I-Vidi, and upon reaching 2000 reputation – in the Kroffdor repository.

If you read the Scroll of Apologia , you will not only get rid of a destructor, you will also receive protection from its harmful effects for 2 hours. The Scroll of Apologia can be acquired from the demonologists  Berrush or  I-Vidi, and upon reaching 1000 reputation – in the Kroffdor repository.

No sorcerer has yet managed to develop protection against dismemberment.

Destructors and Dismemberment greviors can only be cast upon mages. It is impossible to use a Grevior against a mage that has already been hit with a destructor or Dismemberment grevior.
