Here rests a warrior who strayed from the battlefield.
A warrior that ceased to chase glory and thus returned home. Yet it wasn't shame what greeted him, or sadness. It was only then when the warrior realized that what waited for him was a peaceful life, that of an ordinary person.
In his new life he found boundless joy and countless people who waited to hear stories from his travels.
Sometimes the warrior pondered:
"I reached the gates of the magic world, I halted at the last step, what would've happened if I crossed on to the mage life"
Yet deep within his heart always the same answer resonated
"Then you would've belonged to a new world, full of magic, in which you would've lived an incredible adventure. All to then meet the same ending, with the only difference being the lenght of your journey"
It doesn't matter what path you take
It doesn't matter when you decide to stop
You will miss chances by moving
And you will miss chances if you stop moving
Do not hesitate, do not regret
Just look around you. If you find yourself surrounded by joy, your journey is over.
Love what you have, cherish the people around you.
Our life is very finite
But that is also the reason why life is such a wonderful and precious miracle. |
