The Meowgical Guide to Faean Felines
Embarking on the noble quest to befriend every feline in Faean is not just a goal — it's the ultimate pursuit. More pivotal than completing quests, gaining reputations, conquering challenging instances, or engaging in PvP, the true essence of triumph lies in winning the affection of every whiskered companion. I'm here to guide you on your quest to befriend all the furballs in Faeo. While this guide may not cover every pawprint, it's an excellent starting point for your meow-nificent journey.
Pets
Let's start with pet cats. You can raise them on your own and they are simply adorable, but that is not their only advantage. They will help you in combat by using various effects and by distracting the opponent with their cuteness. When they're not fighting, you can send them on a quest to look for valuable resources.
Mounts
It is possible to obtain several different cat mounts in Faeo. They're not just irresistibly fluffy creatures. They can help you travel the world with incredible speed and they'll always lend you a helping paw in combat. These fierce felines will intimidate your opponents and provide you with an advantage in any battle.
Wild Cats
Meowridian Lands
Meowridian Lands are also where you can interact with Miaurin NPCs:
You can also encounter some Miaurins living in the forests of Meowridian Lands. Players are encouraged to keep a distance for their own safety. Hunting strictly prohibited!
There are wild cats living in certain parts of Faeo. It is important to note that they're not monsters that should be hunted, but rather as beautiful and worthy of preservation creatures. They contribute to the delicate balance of the ecosystem and must be approached with the utmost respect and caution.
Meowridian Lands
Meowridian Lands are accessible to players level 16+ who for the past 15 levels were gaining sufficient experience and knowledge required to be given the honour of worshipping the great Miauri Tao. Bring offerings to the altar amongst the roots of the sacred tree Tailsime to receive a powerful blessings and amazing looking medals.

Events
Out of all seasonal events there's no better than the April event. You can get cat tokens, cat banner, cat chest, cat card, cat achievements, and even food for all of your cats (you can eat rice, but leave fish to your cats!).
In April you can also complete a quest called “Mischievous Mentorious” and obtain a cute little Mentorious, even if you're not a Mentor (although you should be, see post below about mentors' unfair advantages):
But you can find cats not only in April. In December you can create Miaurin ice statuettes. In the past it was also possible to drop cat coins, but sadly not anymore, perhaps though some collectors might have it for sale.
Faeo Under Control of Darkness is another event where you can get a cat achievement:
And of course let's not forget bandit:
Scorpolions and Manticores

Scorpolions and Manticores
Are scorpolions cats? To answer that question I spent hours in the library guided by the wise Flavviy, I consulted Bonna Benita and Orfin, I even asked Avelius to study scorpolions' DNA. Despite all that effort, the results of my research were inconclusive, and due to a lack of sufficient proof of their purrfection, scorpolions are not included in this guide.
There is some promise, however, as during the genetic research we came across the possibility or scorpolions being related to manticores. Manticores can - without any doubt - be called cats, given that their young ones, even though they hatch from eggs, are termed kittens. Should we find more data to confirm the hypothesis of scorpolions being genetically connected to manticores, the guide will be promptly updated.
And the Manticore kitten can be obtained during the Pets from another world event. Forget about getting the full deck (or buy cards from other players), the important part of this event is being able to raise a Manticore kitten <3

Summons
In addition to mounts and pets, you can also summon tigers to battle, the more cats in battle, the better. Unless they're your opponent's, then you can drink Feigned Death Ruse Potion, so that you don't accidentally kill any.
Collections
Some collection fragments feature cats as well:
Cards
There are several cards with cats:

What if you want to be a cat yourself
Sadly, no way exists in the game to become a cat permanently (yet!), but there are ways in which you can experience Faeo through the eyes of a cat. Various metamorphosis elixirs can temporarily transform your character into a feline:
If you have gained sufficient experience and unlocked the way to Meowridian Lands, you can temporarily become a Miaurin when exploring the sacred tree, Tailsime.

You can also participate in battles in Meowridian Vaults as a Miaurin. However, if you're not lucky enough, you might end up in the Zarlog team, in which case you will be forced to fight against Miaurin warriors (and you can't just give up - even in such dire circumstances that would be against the rules). It is therefore safer not to participate in Meowridian Vaults and experience being a Miaurin in Tailsime instead.
Those effects will let you change your looks to that of a cat. Another change you can make to be more like a cat even today is taking a break from quests, reputations, hunting, instances, etc., opting out for sleeping for the whole day with small breaks for food. But there's still something missing: what about the graceful movements and fierceness in battle? Learn these superblows that embody the raw strength and agility of these meow-nificent felines and allow you to decimate your opponents with unrivalled force.
Show off your love for cats
There are many ways to show other players that you understand what the most important thing is in the game. Firstly,
choose one of the images featuring your adorable cats - here are just a few examples:
You can also get an appropriate background for your character:

Gifts (1)
Anlagrissa for every occasssion:
One gift, two cats, can it get any better?
Yes it can:
Black cats - contrary to popular belief, you don't have to be a witch to become their friend.
If you're sending a black cat to your friend, why not add a white cat too for balance? After all, two cat gifts are
better than one.
If you're feeling generous, or simply want yet another way to show off your love for cats to otherplayers, you can shower them with wonderful gifts. Cats are always a good gifts idea, always suitable, always purrrrrfect.
