teleporting

today i was at plateau to get my daily random item, and i teleported back to the city square after i clicked ruins, at the same time i was attacked by a magmar.

what ended up happening was i went back to the square and he was fighting me, so i was in two places at once.. in the fight it said that i was killed, but i didnt get any negative status from it

after i finished writing this i had to revive myself.. so in other words i had no chance to defend myself in this fight

This can happen when you teleport and get attacked at the same time.
