Problem with Game Client

Hi, I am using (or was trying to use) game client version 2.33.37. My problem is that every time I clicked on an action i.e. changing location, clicking hunt screen or opening backpack etc, the Adobe flash player updater would start, refuse to update and then my screen would load only after I cancelled the updater. I tried re-installing adobe flash player and reinstalling the game client itself but it did not help. Please advice as to what to do and whether using the latest client would help. (I downloaded the torrent version, my file size is 397 mb, but in game library it shows 350.77 mb). Last but not the least, I use college proxy server to connect, but I do not think that it contributes to the problem since I can play in browser just fine. Please help.
